6/28/11-First u/s since levels rose so quickly! Could only see "ring of pregnancy" since it is still early.
7/6/11-Ultrasound to see what is causing cramping. Found out I have a subchorionic hematoma.
7/18/11-ER trip. Had a stomach virus and was extremely dehydrated. Got a bag of fluids and was sent home. Drs ignored what was actually wrong and wouldn't check pains in right side.
7/20/11-Another ER trip for pains in side. Dr just did ultrasound to check on baby and see if anything was abnormal. Baby was fine, measured 8 weeks 0 days (3 days off from edd) and had a heartrate of 178. Subchorionic hematoma was 2cm x 4cmDr didn't check anything else, gave a prescription for pain pills and sent me home.
7/26/11-Got in to my dr office in Iowa! Had "initial" appt and early ultrasound. Baby measured 9 weeks 1 day (1 day off from edd) and had heartrate of 175. Did not see subchorionic hematoma in uterus anymore:) Everything looked normal.
8/10/11-Heard baby's heartbeat on home doppler for the first time! Couldn't get rate since it was too quiet but hearing it was enough for me!
8/23/11-Dr appt. Regular check up. Talked about cold symptoms never ending and got suggestions for medications to take. Baby's heartbeat was 166.
8/24/11-First trimester screening in Des Moines. Heartbeat in 170's and baby measuring within a couple of days from dd. Have not heard results
9/6/11-Extra appt. Thought I had a UTI but did not, just extremely dehydrated. Did quick ultrasound to check cervical length and to see if anything could be seen for pains in right side-nothing found but baby's hb was 166.
9/27/11-Found out it's a BOY! Baby looked good and healthy and is measuring right on track:)
10/19/11-Appt. Baby's heartrate was 152. Asked about contractions and scheduled ultrasound in two weeks to check cervical length.
11/2/11-Ultrasound to check cervical length. Measuring just under 3cm.
11/4/11-Went in for appt because of contractions. Found out I was extremely dehydrated. Had to go back later that night and be admitted for fluids. Was ordered to start Procardia 10mg every 8 hours. Was put on bedrest for the rest of the weekend.
11/9/11-Another ultrasound to check cervical length. Has gone down to 2.53cm. Baby was measuring three days ahead and had a heartrate of 148bpm. Ordered to work up to taking Procardia 20mg every 8 hours. Was put on "bedrest" until further notice (no more working and only light activity)
11/15/11-Quick appt. Have yeast infection:( Baby's heartrate was 145-150 range.
11/17/11-Appt in Des Moines. Baby measuring on track and is 1lb 14oz. Cervical length was at 2.57. Heartrate was 153.
11/21/11-Procardia dosage changed to 20mg every 6 hours because of increased contractions.
11/30/11-Appt. Have another yeast infection. Was given prescriptions to hopefully clear it up better this time. Baby's heartrate was 158-160.
12/6/11-Ultrasound-Cervical length at 2cm. Appt-Had one hour glucose test-failed:( Also was told that I am anemic and have to start taking iron pills. Had Rhogam shot.
12/8/11-Three hour glucose test-passed!
12/13/11-3D Ultrasound! Baby kept his hand in his face along with the umbilical cord but got a few shots! His heart rate was 148 bpm and he was measuring a week ahead. His weight is estimated at 3lbs 3oz. Cervix was measuring at 3.18cm. Got first betamethazone shot.
12/14/11-Second Betamethazone shot
12/21/11-Appt. Heartrate in 140's. Was given Tylenol #3 for back pains
12/23/11-Sent to hospital because of bleeding the night before and fluid like discharge. Ffn came back negative and wasn't leaking fluid so was sent home.
12/27/11-Ultrasound to check cervical length-2.86cm. Heart rate was 154 bpm. Also checked if baby would cooperate for more 3D pictures but he is still facing my back with a hand in his face.
1/2/12-NST because of falling a few days before. Baby was fine but showed a lot of uterine irritability and some contractions. Had an IV with a liter of fluids to try and calm them down.
1/4/12-Appt. Babys heartrate was in the 140s. Ffn came back negative
1/17/12-Ultrasound-baby's heartrate was 138 bpm. Everything looked good. He is still measuring a week ahead and weighs approximately 5lbs 9oz. Cervical length was 3.1cm. Appt-Got the ok to stop Procardia. Will start checking for dilation next week.
1/25/12-Appt. Dilated 1-2cm! Blood pressure was a little high but not too worrisome. GBS test (negative).
2/1/12-Appt. 3cm dilated. Dr said if I was at 4cm by Monday he would break my water and we would have a baby!
2/2/12-Labor!
